Due to the weather, tonight’s girls’ soccer game has been canceled and will be rescheduled at a later date.

The Tennessee Sports Writers Association has released its All-State Girls Soccer selections and Sophie Rush and Lydia Smith were two of the student-athletes named.

The youthful Lynx eliminate St. George's on penalties while the Eagles have a shot to repeat as D2-A state champs after putting four past USJ.

It was meant to be. For the first time in school history, the Lausanne girls' soccer team will play for a state championship on Friday evening in Chattanooga. The Lynx defeated St. George's 5-4 in penalty kicks Thursday afternoon at Baylor School in Chattanooga.

The varsity soccer team got back in the win column on Thursday night with a 2-1 win over MHEA.

Next up is a Saturday morning match against Northpoint at 9 a. m.
